So what does Netquote Prophet actually do?

  • Scans/screens entire Market using top 49 Technical indicators
  • Displays a chart of results
  • Show stocks with the most Bullish and/or Bearish Indicators

Netquote Prophet employs 49 of the most popular technical indicators by using them to analyse the trading history of the all the stocks on the Australian Stock Market, then generates and displays the results in an easy to understand chart.

Netquote Prophet including 6 months of market updates is now only $149.00

How does it work?

Each day run the Netquote Prophet application and it will collect the ASX trading data and statistics from the Netquote server. The results will then be tabulated for you and displayed by rank.

Will Netquote Prophet tell me what stocks to buy?

There is no software available that will give you a certainty on what stocks to buy. What Netquote Prophet will do is combine the techniques used by charting and technical analysis applications and provide the results in a simple to understand format.

Sophisticated charting applications rely on you to do the analysis yourself, with Netquote Prophet the hard work has been done for you and you are simply getting the results of the comprehensive market scans.

How much does it cost?

The Netquote Prophet application is $149.00. This price includes your first 6 months of data downloads, after that it is $19.95 per month (discounts apply for annual accounts).

What is a technical indicator?
A technical indicator is best described as a mathematical formula or procedure that is applied to a data set to yield a result. In the case of the stock market the data set is the historical trading data for a stock and the result is an indicator. The technical indicators employed by Netquote Prophet yield two result types, either Bullish indicator or a Bearish indicator.

What are bullish and bearish indicator?
"Bullish" is a term used in financial markets to signify optimism and confidence that security prices will trend higher.
When using Netquote Prophet the term bullish refers to a specific stock, ("bullish on BHP"). The opposite of a bullish market is a bearish market or bear market. Bear markets are markets dominated by pessimism and falling prices.

Netquote Prophet uses forty nine of the most popular and proven technical indicators to rank stocks from top to bottom. That is, it ranks stocks that are showing the most bullish indicators to stocks showing the least. This is what makes Netquote Prophet easy to use and understand.

For example; if a stock has four, five or more different indicators yielding a bullish result, this may be interpreted that the stock is in a good bullish phase.

Can I customise the application to run only my scans?
Absolutely. Choose to run our preset market scans or simply select your own pre-defined scans.
